And Jonathan made David swear again by his love for him, for he loved him as he loved his own soul.

Now may the Lord show steadfast love and faithfulness to you. And I will do good to you because you have done this thing.

Then David comforted his wife, Bathsheba, and went in to her and lay with her, and she bore a son, and he called his name Solomon. And the Lord loved him
Now Absalom, David's son, had a beautiful sister, whose name was Tamar. And after a time Amnon, David's son, loved her.
