When the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel: "Seek Me and live;
'For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?
"I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
"who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no water; who brought water for you out of the flinty rock;
So the water ran all around the altar; and he also filled the trench with water.
"Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink.
Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
