Isaiah 55:6-11

I love this section of Isaiah. He starts out urging us to seek out God, and make a u-turn from the path of sin, assuring us the Lord will pardon the repenting sinner. The prophet goes on to make note of how much higher and better God is than we are. Finally in verses 10-11 Isaiah points to the ultimate victory of God. I think of the word that shall not return empty as being our Lord Jesus, the Incarnate Word who will accomplish our salvation.
