I've heard people say, "wisdom is just common sense". If that were true, then the Lord doesn't need to store up sound wisdom. Many people have all of the 5 common senses, yet, they do things that are harmful to themselves and to others. Education is good, but even educated people do foolish things. Wisdom is a spiritual gift, that the Lord gives us, if we ask. Wisdom will remove foolishness and error from our lives. Wisdom will sustain us in respect toward God and our fellow man. Wisdom will be a shield in our life.
