It is by FAITH that the righteous live... Aside from saving faith giving us eternal life, Faith in what God has judged to be right and wrong gives us true life here on earth. "He will keep us in perfect peace, whose minds are stayed on Him, who trusts fully in Him." Faith will keep us doing right even when all other facts point the other way, and it is God's pleasure to bring us through this to blessing.

When we trust God's Promises and God's Authority to dictate what is right and wrong for us, we come to Perfect Peace! God's way for us is definitely best, and if you try keeping your mind secure on God and His ways, He DOES bring Perfect Peace.

God is our shield against evil when we trust Him. If Eve had trusted God's judgment in His command, she would have been shielded from sin.
