12The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
12The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
if we are Christians, we are all of the Body of Christ. Christ is the Head of the Body and as the head tells the body what to do and the body responds, so should we do the things that Jesus tells us to do. as the our bodies have many parts, so does the Body of Christ have many Parts.

John 6:29
29Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
29Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
God first wants you to believe on His Son Jesus Christ. that is the first works He has for you, a non-believer, an unsaved person, a non-Christian. that is the only works that will save you. after you get saved, any works you do, helping out in your Church, witnessing to someone, helping the needy, are works that won't save you, but will be a little extra after you get to Heaven, if you do them for the right reason. for the Glory of God and the furtherment of His Kingdom, not for your glory and not for you to brag on what you have done.
...
as my preacher says, just a little extra chaching for you when you when you get to Heaven to be able to lay at Jesus' feet.
...
we won't be merited on our works, but on Jesus' works while He was here on earth. the few little works that we do after we are saved, become Christians, will just be a little something extra to be able to lay at Jesus' feet when we get to see Him when we get to Heaven.
