7Elisha went to Damascus, and Ben-Hadad king of Aram was ill. When the king was told, “The man of God has come all the way up here,” The Death of Ben-Hadad. Elisha says he will recover but still die. He is speaking to the man that will kill him. He pulls away in fear seeing the horrors this man would commit against the Israelites. This is like a Jewish prophet answering a question for Hitler when he was just getting started.
