This verse tells us that we can forget all things that are in the past, because it holds us back. We cannot go forward if we keep looking back. (Genesis 19:26). We need to let go of the past, in order to progress. Moving on and growth is the basis of redemption and forgiveness,because your pass sins will not harbor you from experiencing the love of God.
