Isaiah 43:18-19
18“Forget the former things;do not dwell on the past.
We serve a mighty God. Admit it, Church, our God can do anything. He speaks to a Church that is disgruntled and defeated; one whose knees are higher than its shoulders now. While they are yet licking their wounds, listen to the Voice of a God who knows no fear, 'Forget what happened before, and do not think about the past.' Wow. Talk about a God of Victory and not one simply of war. Despite the rut the Church was in, despite the fact that someone continued to press rewind on the cassette labeled 'The Worst of Life's Problems', this rule-breaking God thunders, 'Look at the new thing I am going to do. It is already happening. Don't you see it?' His Power is so great that even when His Plan is yet being formed it is already taking effect. The audacity of Jehovah! He goes on to boast of abilities to make streets of strength in power draining wilderness and rivers of living water in the dryest of placest! It is not enough for Him to bless you, He has to cause your cup to run over during the lowest points in your life! And guess what, Church; it is happening right now. Shall ye not know it? Those tears of sorrow are filling your pool of salvation. The blood and sweat you are sewing is but fertilizer to an abundant harvest. Stones of set backs and bricks of burdens are being used as cornerstones for mansions of miracles. He is doing something new, Family. New mercies. Fresh blessings. All being baked from Heaven's Bakery.

Lamentations 3:26
26it is good to wait quietlyfor the salvation of the LORD.
Jeremiah reminds us that waiting in war for the God of all Victory is a good thing. If the Victory was immediate we wouldn't appreciate it. If the Victory was too easy we wouldn't praise Him for it. If the Victory came the way we thought it should, we would think we had something to do with it. If we wait on it, we will welcome it; if we pray for it, we will thank Him for it. The trying of our faith worketh our patience.

Luke 21:15
15For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
The flesh fights with weapons of flesh; the spirit fights with weapons from the Spirit. Our enemies are utterly defeated by His Words spilling from our lips.
