14You are my friends if you do what I command.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends... (The main reference that Quakers used in calling themselves Friends.) Also, gives an odd perspective on 'worship,' when we take that word literally. How do we 'worship' someone who would rather be our friend than our lord?

It is said indeed, "The Spirit witnesseth with our spirit"; but not to our outward ears. And seeing the Spirit of God is within us, and not without us, it speaks to our spiritual, and not to our bodily ear. - Robert Barclay, Apology, Proposition 2, §8.

"I am full of words, and the spirit within me compels me; inside I am like bottled-up wine, like new wineskins ready to burst. I must speak and find relief." Elihu has waited until now, letting his elders speak first, and now that they have failed to answer Job's complaint, he asserts (32:8) that it is not age, but "the spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding." This spirit now fills him to bursting, a feeling familiar to many who are compelled to share ministry in meeting.

A poet friend spoke this line to me: "A strong wind's blowin through, and
Sometimes we just got to follow it." There's no way to know where it's headed, or where you're headed. That's what you call faith!
