This is one of my favorite scriptures. I don't claim to be much like Paul, but in this passage I definitely feel a connection with him. I was once zealous for a faith which I now see as contrary to true Christianity. I once felt as though I had a righteousness from the law. I was zealous and blameless in many ways. Now I count it all rubbish compared to the righteousness I have in Christ.
