1“Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. We should always be mindful of our reasons for doing good for people. It is also good to consider the motives of those who give to us because sometimes good actions come with a price other than our appreciation.
