Luke 10:25-37
The Parable of the Good Samaritan
25On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” This reminds us that everyone is our neighbor. Next door, the other side of town, across the county, and across the world. We only have one world and we are all neighbors. Stick with your vertical relationship with God (You on Earth, Him up high), and fulfill the ideas of the cross by completing the horizontal (open your arms here on Earth) by reaching out to your neighbors. Reach out your hand to those in need, for when you are in need you will be ever thankful your neighbor's hand will be there. -Mission Gathering (missiongathering.com) message on 07-01-07

Matthew 18:21-35
The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant
21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Pastor Matt from MissionGathering gave a beautiful sermon on forgiveness and how the Lord wants us to pay that forward. Remember to untie that knot that links us to those we haven't forgiven. God has overflowing mercy/forgiveness for us and he wants us to share that with our brothers and sisters everyday.

John 21:1-19
Chapter 21
Jesus and the Miraculous Catch of Fish
1Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Tiberias. That is, Sea of Galilee It happened this way: On 05-06-07 Pastor Rich (missiongathering.com) gave a great sermon based on these verses.
My summary: We are all Gods friends and thus we are all friends of God. All of Gods friends are our friends. God loves us, thus we love God and all his friends. God is with us in the darkest of times and is always waiting on the shores of our hearts (even if we don't recognize him from where we stand). He stands there to bring us back away from our comfortable hazards and lift us up to follow Him again.
Every day we live as who we are, and no matter what we do, what we go through, what we hide from, Jesus is there calling us back to shore to meet with his friends and follow in His steps. Amen.
