The Lord will not strive with a stubborn mule forever. Eventually he can just shake the dust from his feet and walk away allowing you to live this life under the sun as you see fit. It is not easy to bring God to this point with you. For his mercy and understanding along with Patience are not of this world!

This is a scary point for any human who does not even understand what is happening. The point when Gods gives up on one and allows them into the sinful desires of their flesh. Sin in full bloom leads to death. Which without God period will lead to the second death in the afterlife.
