1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. If you do not know you perish. I love the insight of this scripture in relaying the message of knowing what is beyond. Always think of what comes afterwards. Jesus knew that shame was just a barrier before the cross, He knew he had to be on the cross in order to be across.
