Philippians 1:18

It's interesting that Paul is saying that whether for true or flase motives preaching is preaching. I suppose that if the message was being received either way then goal was accomplished... it makes me think of modern day tele-evangelists that fool thousands of people into supporting them, they are crooked people but at the same time they are preaching Christ. It makes me wonder of God has set asside a special place for them up there since it would be hard for a human to cast judgement on a person for preaching out of false motivation.

Ephesians 2:1-2
Chapter 2
Made Alive in Christ
1As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, Verse 2 makes reference to "...the ruler of the kingdom of air..." which is yet another name, it seems, for Satan. I had never heard this name referenced before and find "kingdom of air" to be an interesting and puzzling description.

Ephesians 1:21
21far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

Thought it was interesting the reference to titles "...not only in the present age but also in the one to come.". As if Paul knew that over time langauges would evolve and words and meanings would change. Interesting considering that at that time historical, cultural and linguistic evolution were still in their relative infancy. To me just the idea of including a phrase that also locked down future meaning in a title of authority was pretty interesting and forward thinking for its time... Perhaps I am wrong about this or missinterpreting what its saying - but just a thought.
