Lamentations 3:19-23
19I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall.
19I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall.
This reminds me of me, and my trials and sufferings. But we serve an awesome God who is faithful! What a promise. What God says is! You can count on it. Don't be afraid, just believe!

Hebrews 11:1
Chapter 11
By Faith
1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hope must be present for faith to produce. And Hope can't produce anything without faith! Faith is the substance. How do you develop that kind of Hope? You stay in the Word until your neck streches out.

Read from 15-18 imagine Peter saying, "Hey, John, you know that cripple down there by the temple? Come on, let's go use the Name on him! They saw themselves doing what Jesus said they could do. They had "White Hot" hope. So they said to the cripple, "IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH RISE UP AND WALK." and he walked, Brother! Now that is expectancy!! They didn't tiptoe around, making sure no one was watching and whisper, "Dear Lord, if it be Thy will, heal this poor cripple man." If you are praying like that stop! There is no hope or expectancy in that. Go to the Word and find out what it says about what God's will IS. Disease, sickness, poverty, anything negative is not from God. It is not his will. Meditate on the Word until it is strong and clear to you. So when someone comes to you and says, "Good Morning." you can jump up and say, "Yes! God Bless! It is a good morning.

Philippians 1:20
20I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

You may say, "I'm a believer. I know God's promises. I have all the hope I need." Hope comes when you take God's promises, keep them before you eyes and ears until they begin to build an image inside of you. Hope comes when you begin to see yourself WITH what God has promised you - instead of seeing yourself WITHOUT it.

Ephesians 2:12
12remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.

Before you can understand how important hope is, you have to realize that real, Bible Hope is not "wishing." That is worldly hope. People of the world say, "I wish I could get a raise at work." when they really mean to say, "I want a raise. I don't think I'll get it...but it would be nice if I did." God's hope is much stronger. It is not based on wishing or wanting.

Romans 4:18
18Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”Gen. 15:5

Abraham did not stagger through unbelief on what God had promised, he was able also to perform. Abraham was fully persuaded. You can be too! But you can't get that way sitting around watching tv or messing around with the world. We get "fully persuaded" by purposely meditating on the promise of God until it gets inside you so deep that no one can get it out. Praise God

Colossians 1:23
23if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
23if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
It can be spiritually dangerous to have any other hope besides the "gospel hope."
