Love one another
11This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. We have come from the world, who does not love, into God, who is Love. Therefore if we do not love, we are not of God. The world will hate us, but we can support each other in love. Our example of love is Christ, who laid down his life for us. Our love is not to come by just words, but by actions. Remember this covers both of the Great Commandments: Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind; and love others as yourself.
