This verse is yet another reminder that God forgives us of all our sins (as long as we repent with a true heart), so the same is expected of us.

Sometimes other people hurt us so much that we find it extremely hard to forgive them. This verse is a gentle reminder that sometimes we hurt God and he is willing to forgive us every time. God would never say no to anyone who asks for forgiveness and neither should we.
