Oh what a struggle it is to live by this verse. It's hard to not get riled up when someone knows just how to push your buttons. I may suck in this area, but knowing (and admitting it) is the first step in working on it.

The home is not a place for fighting or arguing. It should be a place of love, understanding, and calm conversation. If you need too - take a break and go for a walk, then return to make peace.

This goes well with 1 Corinthians 13:4 'Love suffers long and is kind'. We often don't know or understand Gods purpose, and somethings what happens is hard to understand or work through. But in the end - God's purpose has a positive outcome.

Love is mixed bag of things isn't it? The only thing I'm not overly comfortable of (as a mere human) is the long suffering side of things. Love might be able to suffer long, but man kind? I guess thats where we need to rely on Gods strength.
