19Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God,you who have done great things.Who, O God, is like you?
19Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God,you who have done great things.Who, O God, is like you?
This psalmist acknowledged the fact that God had put him through great troubles, but he had faith that God would be the one to pick him up and, "increase (his) greatness".

2 Corinthians 4:8-9
8We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
8We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
Belief in God and his power to bring great restoration allowed Paul to write these words. This verse is empowering to anyone going through troubles. Just remember, "...persecuted, but not forsaken...". God doesn't leave us. We are never forsaken or forgotten by him.

Daniel 4:34
34At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.His dominion is an eternal dominion;his kingdom endures from generation to generation.

Job 42:10
10After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before.
10After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before.
The Lord gave him twice as much as he had before. Job was blessed. He had proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt that he had faith in God. After being given foolish advice from friends and his own wife Job remained a faithful man. God also allowed him to survive through four generation of children (42:16).

Genesis 41:13
13And things turned out exactly as he interpreted them to us: I was restored to my position, and the other man was hanged.Or impaled”
13And things turned out exactly as he interpreted them to us: I was restored to my position, and the other man was hanged.Or impaled”
Joseph in his resilient nature knew that his trust in God would bring him through. After being sold and imprisioned he didn't lose faith in God's ability to provide for him. Not only did God bless him with the ability to interpret the kings dream, he was released from prision and given a prominent position. Most importantly, God allowed him to provide for the same brothers that sold him. He was sold at 17 and became a ruler at 30. Joseph spent 13 years enslaved and jailed. That just goes to show you that even our strugles are in God's plan for our lives (Genesis 50:20).

Psalms 23:3
3he restores my soul.He guides me in paths of righteousnessfor his name's sake.
3he restores my soul.He guides me in paths of righteousnessfor his name's sake.
We often take this psalm for granted, but it is a important testament of David who had his life and soul restored by God. "He restoreth my soul...". The same verse tells us that he does that just, because he is God. "...for his name sake".

Psalms 51:12
12Restore to me the joy of your salvationand grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
12Restore to me the joy of your salvationand grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
David in his resilient nature went to God after he sinned (committing adultery and murder) to ask for a restoration. We sometimes think that it is impossible for our lives to be restored, but our faith in his power to restore is key.
