Christ is present in the Holy Eucharist. It is what this verse teaches and it is the teaching of the undivided church. It was what all Christians believed for the first 1,500 years of church history. Not sure why some are so quick to read verses fairly literally and then instantly have to spiritualize what Christ is saying here.
