Psalms 53
Psalm 53
For the director of music. According to mahalath.Title: Probably a musical term AmaskilTitle: Probably a literary or musical term of David.
1The fool says in his heart,“There is no God.”They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;there is no one who does good. Here, the Lord has used superlatives to show the gross magnitude of man's wickedness. The psalmist cries out for salvation.this pleading out was answered in the death of He who is perfect; who stumbled, but was without sin: Jesus Christ

Malachi 3:2
2But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap.
2But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap.
This is clearly the defining verse for my life with Christ

Here the Lordhas made it clear that righteous accept instruction where the are unteachable. God provides a framework upon which we can set standards for our lives. Given that we are prone to wickedness, yielding our lives must be a daily routine. Clearly, protection is given to those who repent.

Psalms 49
Psalm 49
For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
1Hear this, all you peoples;listen, all who live in this world, Increases are given to all, but the wise understand it is only temporary. The foolish believe their wealth will suceed them. It follows that the wise make a habit to give their wealth while still on earth. That's my belief anyway. We look to the Lord for guidance for how we can share our blessings-- they're given in His name. How does this relate to our relationships? Increases are not neccessarily financial. It can also be our time and attention.

Psalms 48
Psalm 48
A song. A psalm of the Sons of Korah.
1Great is the LORD, and most worthy of praise,in the city of our God, his holy mountain. Zion represents us as the Lord's bride; she is the church. We as humans have many facets to our souls. I believe this is how we can think of the many palaces the psalmist writes about. We need Jesus to live in every nook and cranny of our hearts so that He may fortify us against our enemies..

Psalms 47:1-3
Psalm 47
For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
1Clap your hands, all you nations;shout to God with cries of joy. God is worthy of all praise. He is the One who strengthens us against our enemas and gives us fortitude to perservere. Praise is due, but obedience to make the tough decisions and letting go at the foot of the cross is our daily challenge.

Psalms 46:8-9
8Come and see the works of the LORD,the desolations he has brought on the earth.
8Come and see the works of the LORD,the desolations he has brought on the earth.
God controls all in our lives. His authority rules tol the ends of the Earth. If we attempt to take that away from Him we will find ourselves in struggle with Him. A wrestling match with Jesus will always have the same outcome. Don't expect to be on top and don' t expect to have more Love than He.
