Genesis 2:22-25

The Creation of Man and Woman

²² Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He ₁ made into a woman, _b and He _c brought her to the man.

²³ And Adam said:
This is now _d bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called ₂ Woman,
Because she was _e taken out of ₃ Man."

²⁴ _f Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and _g be ₄ joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. ²⁵ _h And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not _i ashamed.
