Psalm 92 A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day. 1It is good to praise the LORDand make music to your name, O Most High, 2to proclaim your love in the morning 3to the music of the ten-stringed lyre 4For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; 5How great are your works, O LORD, 6The senseless man does not know, 7that though the wicked spring up like grass 8But you, O LORD, are exalted forever. 9For surely your enemies, O LORD, 10You have exalted my hornHorn here symbolizes strength. like that of a wild ox; 11My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; 12The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, 13planted in the house of the LORD, 14They will still bear fruit in old age, 15proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; Psalm 93 1The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty;the LORD is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. 2Your throne was established long ago; 3The seas have lifted up, O LORD, 4Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, 5Your statutes stand firm; Psalm 94 1O LORD, the God who avenges,O God who avenges, shine forth. 2Rise up, O Judge of the earth; 3How long will the wicked, O LORD, 4They pour out arrogant words; 5They crush your people, O LORD; 6They slay the widow and the alien; 7They say, “The LORD does not see; 8Take heed, you senseless ones among the people; 9Does he who implanted the ear not hear? 10Does he who disciplines nations not punish? 11The LORD knows the thoughts of man; 12Blessed is the man you discipline, O LORD, 13you grant him relief from days of trouble, 14For the LORD will not reject his people; 15Judgment will again be founded on righteousness, 16Who will rise up for me against the wicked? 17Unless the LORD had given me help, 18When I said, “My foot is slipping,” 19When anxiety was great within me, 20Can a corrupt throne be allied with you— 21They band together against the righteous 22But the LORD has become my fortress, 23He will repay them for their sins Psalm 95 1Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD;let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. 2Let us come before him with thanksgiving 3For the LORD is the great God, 4In his hand are the depths of the earth, 5The sea is his, for he made it, 6Come, let us bow down in worship, 7for he is our God 8do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,Meribah means quarreling. 9where your fathers tested and tried me, 10For forty years I was angry with that generation; 11So I declared on oath in my anger, Psalm 96 1Sing to the LORD a new song;sing to the LORD, all the earth. 2Sing to the LORD, praise his name; 3Declare his glory among the nations, 4For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; 5For all the gods of the nations are idols, 6Splendor and majesty are before him; 7Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations, 8Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; 9Worship the LORD in the splendor of hisOr LORD with the splendor of holiness; 10Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.” 11Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; 12let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. 13they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, Psalm 97 1The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad;let the distant shores rejoice. 2Clouds and thick darkness surround him; 3Fire goes before him 4His lightning lights up the world; 5The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, 6The heavens proclaim his righteousness, 7All who worship images are put to shame, 8Zion hears and rejoices 9For you, O LORD, are the Most High over all the earth; 10Let those who love the LORD hate evil, 11Light is shed upon the righteous 12Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, Hide Notes
