BOOK IV Psalms 90-106 Psalm 90 A prayer of Moses the man of God. 1Lord, you have been our dwelling placethroughout all generations. 2Before the mountains were born 3You turn men back to dust, 4For a thousand years in your sight 5You sweep men away in the sleep of death; 6though in the morning it springs up new, 7We are consumed by your anger 8You have set our iniquities before you, 9All our days pass away under your wrath; 10The length of our days is seventy years— 11Who knows the power of your anger? 12Teach us to number our days aright, 13Relent, O LORD! How long will it be? 14Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, 15Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, 16May your deeds be shown to your servants, 17May the favorOr beauty of the Lord our God rest upon us; Psalm 91 1He who dwells in the shelter of the Most Highwill rest in the shadow of the Almighty.Hebrew Shaddai my God, in whom I trust.” 3Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare 4He will cover you with his feathers, 5You will not fear the terror of night, 6nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, 7A thousand may fall at your side, 8You will only observe with your eyes 9If you make the Most High your dwelling— 10then no harm will befall you, 11For he will command his angels concerning you 12they will lift you up in their hands, 13You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; 14“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; 15He will call upon me, and I will answer him; 16With long life will I satisfy him Hide Notes
