Epilogue 7After the Lord had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.8So now take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.”9So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite did what the Lord told them; and the Lord accepted Job's prayer.10After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before.11All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought upon him, and each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring. 12The Lord blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the first. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys.13And he also had seven sons and three daughters.14The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch.15Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job's daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers. 16After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.17And so he died, old and full of years. Psalms BOOK I Psalms 1-41 Psalm 1 1Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.2But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. 3He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. 4Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Psalm 2 1Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?2The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One. 3“Let us break their chains,” they say, “and throw off their fetters.” 4The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. 5Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying, 6“I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill.” 7I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to me, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father. 8Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. 9You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.” 10Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. 11Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling. 12Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

I did not notice until I read the commentary that this psalm actually offers very practical instruction on the social behavior of a godly man. He does not behave as the ungodly do, he does not frequent the same places as the ungodly, and he does not associate himself with the ungodly. Instead, he studies the Word, and it guides his path, day and night. Because of these things, he is rewarded both by the Lord and because the nature of these behaviors makes it so.

This chapter, although short, contains vital information for those who desire to follow God.
1. It tells us that contrary to what we believe, it is not right for us to be around sinners. In order to stand for God, we may have to let some of our closest friends go.
2. God and his word should be on our minds constantly, because only then can we stand firm and not be swayed by temptation.
3. When we do these things the Lord will bless us in all that we do.
4. We are also warned that the ungodly can't stand, because they are easily swayed and persuaded to sin.
5. Due to their weakness and unwillingness to turn away from sin and repent, they will "not stand in judgement".

Ps. 1:1: How well God must like you- you don't hang out at Sin Saloon,
you don't slink along Dead-End Road,
you don't go to Smart-Mouth College.

4And this I say, lest any man should beguile( betray, bluff, burn*, cheat, chisel, con, deceive, delude, diddle, double-cross, dupe, entice, exploit, finesse, flimflam*, gyp*, have, hoodwink*, impose on, jockey, juggle, lure, manipulate, mislead, play, rook*, rope in*, scam, seduce, shave*, snow*, string along, suck in*, take, take in,)you with enticing words.5For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the Spirit(no schism in Christ Baptism), joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ(JESUS ATONING BLOOD).6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk(dwell, rest, trust) ye in HIM:7Rooted and built up in HIM, and stablished in the faith(in Jesus atoning blood), as ye have been taught(by the Holy Ghost), abounding therein with thanksgiving.8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, (which are) not after Christ(Our Saviour). 9For in HIM(Christ Jesus the Lord) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.10And ye are complete(whole, perfect, justified) in HIM, which is the Head(the Stone which the builders rejected is become the Great High Priest) of all principality and power:11In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:12Buried with HIM in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with HIM through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised HIM from the dead.
13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath HE quickened together with HIM(Christ Jesus the Lord), having forgiven you all trespasses(forgiven and freed(RISEN)in CHRIST JESUS);14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to HIS cross;15And having spoiled principalities and powers, HE made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.(IT=THE FLESH)<>Colossians 2<>Abba Father God Almighty<>Reconciled through Christ Jesus<>We exalt the WORD above all things<>Divine revelation and manifestation yesterday, today and forever<>Amen<>+<>F<\+/>S<>+<>
