The Man With Leprosy
12While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. The Greek word was used for various diseases affecting the skin–not necessarily leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
13Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.
14Then Jesus ordered him, “Don't tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”

15Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses.16But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Is there a connection here between the man seeking and Jesus' willingness to heal? Where do we fit on both sides of this? As one seeking... As one gifting...

Jesus didn't need to touch the leper here. He actually performs several miracles during his life and ministry from a significant distance. So it's extremely significant that Jesus touched this man with leprosy since, for one thing, it was a forbidden act by Jewish law. (I'm sure the original readers of this story felt the weight of that behind this story.) Medically, of course, it makes sense as well. However, Jesus probably restored to this man a sense of humanity and dignity by touching him.

Lord Jesus had only a chapter earlier (Luke 4:18+19)proclaimed His Divine Agenda<>Afterwards, His own synagogue in Nazareth attempted to murder Him<>Now the Son of God (The Divine Physician)heals a leper according to His Divine Agenda<>The Son of God made this man clean of his disease because of his faith in HIM<>The incontrovertible evidence is that Jesus Christ made this man clean (whole)<>F<\+/>S<>
