Ecclesiastes 1:18

study / save / / memorize

Wisdom Is Meaningless
12I, the Teacher, was king over Israel in Jerusalem.13I devoted myself to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under heaven. What a heavy burden God has laid on men!14I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

15What is twisted cannot be straightened;
what is lacking cannot be counted.

16I thought to myself, “Look, I have grown and increased in wisdom more than anyone who has ruled over Jerusalem before me; I have experienced much of wisdom and knowledge.”17Then I applied myself to the understanding of wisdom, and also of madness and folly, but I learned that this, too, is a chasing after the wind.

18For with much wisdom comes much sorrow;
the more knowledge, the more grief.

I know that God is giving me a gift every time I struggle in life. I struggle a lot. But he is faithful and turns my struggles into wisdom that is beyond me. But a warning - the moment I feel wise, he shows me the wisdom of humility...

God uses wisdom to open our eyes to life around us. We will not experience awareness to the full potential unless we are exposed to wisdom. Wisdom can be given but good or bad in this life trials come with the experience.

Once you're wise through God, Satan will be after you. He'll try to crack down on the incredible strength that God has given you. But God will get you through it, and through those trials you will learn even more. <><

As wisdom increase, so does grieve.
